The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, participated in the “Songkran Tradition: Paying Respect and Asking Blessings from the Elderly” event at the Information Technology Building, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus, Thung Yai area. The activity aimed to preserve and promote the rich traditions and cultural heritage of Thailand.
The event featured merit-making activities, including offering dried food to monks for good fortune, pouring water to seek blessings from the elderly as a sign of respect during the Thai New Year, and bathing the Buddha image (Luang Pho Ong Dam) for auspiciousness for all participants.
