The Faculty of Veterinary Science, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, organized the Youth Volunteer Program for 2024 under the project titled “Establishing a Sustainable and Standardized Health Service System for Water Buffaloes to Promote Eco-Tourism,” on October 9, 2024. This 6th edition of the project integrates academic instruction with community service, focusing on managing the health and reproductive systems of water buffaloes at Thale Noi.
The program included health checks, disease diagnostics, vitamin injections, fertility examinations before artificial insemination, and semen quality assessments prior to breeding. Key participants in this event were Dr. Khosit Areekit, Dr. Adisorn Srijaras, Dr. Sunisa Kongthong, and Dr. Nattharut Rerkngam, along with eight 6th-year veterinary students. Additionally, Mr. Chamniang Khongphom (Livestock Volunteer, Khuan Khanun District), Mr. Pramote Pirom (Officer of Khuan Khanun District), and Mr. Uman Chuthong (Livestock Officer, Khuan Khanun District) also contributed to the project.
