One of the Career Paths for Veterinary Officials: “Veterinarian at the Department of Fisheries”
On October 24, 2024, Dr. Kittikan Sakuna, Dr. Sophawan Rattanaphan, and Ms. Supaporn Nuchu led sixth-year veterinary students with a keen interest in aquatic animal care to closely interact with real-life veterinarians from the Department of Fisheries. They were honored to have Dr. Nut (Dr. Saran Siri Nuanmanee, a Senior Veterinary Officer) as a guide, providing insights into the work of veterinarians at the Songkhla Aquatic Animal Health Research and Development Center in Songkhla Province. This visit also provided an opportunity to discuss future directions and sustainable development in Thailand’s aquaculture industry, aligning with the mission of the RMUTSV Aquatic Animal Research and Clinic Center, with the goal of fostering formal collaboration between agencies.
