The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, conducted the “Veterinary Clinical Practice 5” course for sixth-year students from November 25 to 29, 2024. The course was designed to enhance students’ knowledge and practical skills in professional veterinary work. The program was divided into three stations as follows:
Station 1:
At the Institute of Natural Resources and Environment, RMUTSV Trang Campus, students conducted health checks on sea turtles, collected samples for clinical diagnosis, planned treatments, administered care, and monitored the turtles’ progress. The station was supervised by Dr. Pimwarang Sukkaran and Ms. Supaporn Nuchu.
Station 2:
At Elephant Hills in Surat Thani Province, students attended a lecture on the biology, behavior, and management of elephants, and presented their work. The station was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Sineenart Khembubpa.
Station 3:
- Phuket (November 25, 2024): Students observed and studied tiger behavior at Tiger PARK Phuket.
- Phuket (November 26, 2024): Students visited the Upper Andaman Sea Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center to study marine resources. Supervisors for this station were Dr. Sitthat Chumsri and Mr. Jakkrapong Muangsub.
