Atmosphere of Veterinary Clinical Practice 4 – Fifth-Year Students, Beef Cattle Station (February 3 & 10, 2025)
Supervised by Dr. Niramol Thongtem, Dr. Wasakorn Khoploiklang, and Dr. Supinya Chujai, fifth-year veterinary students participated in clinical practice sessions focusing on assisting cattle with recumbency syndrome. These sessions aimed to provide treatment and guidance to farmers on basic cattle care in Thung Yai District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
During the fieldwork at beef cattle farms, students engaged in farm management activities, conducted preliminary health assessments, and collected blood and fecal samples for parasitic examinations. Additionally, they administered nutritional supplements, deworming treatments, and reproductive health evaluations for cows with a history of breeding difficulties in Wang Wiset District, Trang Province.
