On March 5, 2025, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), organized a seminar on “Buffalo: The Companion Animal of Thai Farmers” as part of the Thung Yai Agriculture Fair 2025.
The seminar aimed to enhance buffalo farming and health management in Southern Thailand while promoting the conservation of Thai buffaloes. Featured speakers included Prof. Emeritus Peerasak Janprateep, Advisor to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and former President of RMUTSV Council; Mr. Sommai Klaibanmai from the Thai Fighting Cattle Conservation and Breeding Association; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teerawit Janthip, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, RMUTSV.
A total of 75 participants attended the event.
