On April 24, 2025, the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), organized the Student Pre-Commencement Program for the Academic Year 2024. The opening ceremony was graciously presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Theerawit Chanthep, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science.
The program featured several lectures, including a session on legal matters related to operating a veterinary clinic and financial transactions with financial institutions, delivered by Dr. Ittipon Phetsiri, Assistant Director of Kasikorn Bank. Additionally, congratulatory remarks and words of advice were given to the soon-to-be graduates by Professor Emeritus Peerasak Chanthep and Professor Dr. Suwat Thanyaros, President of RMUTSV.
There was also an introduction to the Veterinary Practitioners Association of Thailand and the Veterinary Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage, presented by Professor Dr. Niwat Chansiripornchai.
Furthermore, a lecture on the Veterinary Continuing Education Center was given by Dr. Nawapoon Jampanil.
A briefing on graduation notification and graduate registration procedures was provided by the Registration Office, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus (Thung Yai Area).
The event also included a panel discussion titled “Career Paths and Work Experiences,” featuring alumni of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, RMUTSV, representing four professional sectors: government officers, academic staff, owners of veterinary clinics, and employees in private companies.
The program took place at the Pracheep Chuphan Meeting Room (Lecture Room 3), Faculty of Veterinary Science, RMUTSV, with participation from faculty members, staff, and 49 sixth-year students.
