The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, organized the 2025 ‘Inspiring Veterinary Career Camp’.

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), organized the 2025 “Inspiring Veterinary Career Camp” from May 3 to 5, 2025.

The event was organized by the Student Development Division, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, RMUTSV, Thung Yai Campus, Nakhon Si Thammarat, under the leadership of Dr. Mathuros Suwanruangsri, DVM, Deputy Dean for Student Development.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Theerawit Chantip, DVM, Dean of the Faculty, who also presented certificates to more than 84 student participants from across the country.

The camp aimed to provide high school students with a hands-on experience of the veterinary profession, offering insights into academic life, practical training, and university life. Activities included academic workshops and career guidance such as Pre-Clinic and Clinic learning, tours of the Small Animal Hospital, the Nakhon Si Thammarat Livestock Hospital, the Animal Disease Diagnosis and Laboratory Center, and the Aquatic Animal Operations Center.

The program also featured a special academic counseling session covering the faculty’s three degree programs, presented by Dr. Methasu Chanrod, DVM, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Research.
To further inspire participants, the camp included a motivational session called “In Conversation with a Star” featuring Dr. Ratchadaporn Srisamut (Dr. Bow), who shared her experiences and insights. Additionally, the “Alumni Talk” session featured Dr. Duantula Wongsin and Dr. Puttamas Phetmuangprap, both alumni of the faculty, who shared their academic and professional journeys in the veterinary field.

This camp not only broadened students’ perspectives on the role of veterinarians but also ignited their dreams and helped them prepare for future academic and career planning with confidence.
