The Faculty of Veterinary Science, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, in collaboration with Phanang Tung Subdistrict Municipality, organized a Rural Veterinary Camp to enhance students’ professional skills.
From June 25 to July 4, 2025,
the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, in cooperation with Phanang Tung Subdistrict Municipality, Khuan Khanun District, Phatthalung Province, conducted the Rural Veterinary Professional Experience Enhancement Project (VET Camp).
The objective of the project was to provide sixth-year veterinary students with hands-on professional experience through real-world practice, while also delivering veterinary services to the local community.
The activities were divided into two mobile veterinary service units:
🔹 Large Animal Service Unit:
- Foot-and-mouth disease vaccination in 357 cattle and buffaloes (including 54 buffaloes)
- Lumpy skin disease vaccination in 354 cattle
- Hemorrhagic septicemia vaccination in 50 buffaloes
🔹 Small Animal Service Unit:
- Rabies vaccination for 281 dogs and 227 cats
- Spaying of 94 cats
- Deworming for 104 pets
