On July 21, 2025,
Asst. Prof. Dr. Wipawee Saengoi, DVM, Deputy Dean for Administration and Planning, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, was invited as a guest speaker in a panel discussion on:
“Model Policies and Best Practices for Disease Control in the One Health Framework”
at the 1st Southern Disease Prevention and Control Conference (SODPC-2025), held at Twin Lotus Hotel, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
Dr. Wipavee shared practical experiences from teaching, research, animal hospital operations, and collaborative work with communities and various agencies — all aligned with the One Health approach.
She also proposed ways in which government support could help translate One Health policy into concrete actions at the local level, aiming for sustainable disease surveillance and control.
