On 14 November 2025, at Nanaburi Hotel, Mueang Chumphon District, Chumphon Province, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) organized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony among three parties.
The agreement was signed by Asst.Prof.Dr.Dhiravit Chantip, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, acting on behalf of the President of RMUTSV, together with university executives, faculty members, and staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; executives from D&Z Consultants Co., Ltd., led by Dr. Adul Kailaithong, Managing Director; and representatives from the Don Yang Beef Cattle Farming Community Enterprise, led by Mr. Samphao Meechan, Chairman of the community enterprise.

The primary objective of the collaboration is to enhance and sustainably develop the beef cattle production industry in Chumphon Province, covering all stages from upstream, midstream, to downstream. The partnership emphasizes value-added processing for distribution in modern trade markets and for export.
Chumphon Province already possesses a key advantage—its existing beef slaughtering and processing facility with a capacity of 200 heads per day, developed in collaboration with D&Z Consultants Co., Ltd. and the Provincial Livestock Office.
During the meeting, this integrated working framework was formally recognized as the “Chumphon Model.”
The integrated plan consists of:
- Collaborative development and research in comprehensive beef cattle production medicine from upstream to downstream.
- Human resource development to enhance competencies in beef cattle production and processing.
- Strengthening the competitiveness of beef cattle entrepreneurs domestically and internationally.
This collaboration aligns with the university’s mission to create knowledge and improve the quality of agricultural production in Thailand. It will serve as a crucial driving force in advancing the beef cattle production and industry in Southern Thailand, promoting sustainable growth and long-term development.
