Faculty of Veterinary Science, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Enhances Global Learning through Academic Collaboration with Central Mindanao University, Republic of the Philippines

On December 16, 2025, the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), led by Assistant Professor Dr.Dhiravit Chantip, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, together with Dr.Metasu Chanrot, Vice Dean for Academic and Research Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr.Wipawee Saengsoi, Vice Dean for Administration and Planning Affairs; and Dr. Sara ni-ae, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on academic collaboration with the College of Veterinary Medicine, Central Mindanao University (CMU-CVM), Republic of the Philippines. The signing ceremony was held at Meeting Room 1, Small Animal Hospital, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, and via Zoom Cloud Meeting.

The agreement aims to promote collaboration in teaching and learning, student capacity development, and the exchange of professional experiences at the international level. This academic partnership is intended to support the implementation of the International Educational Trip (IET) program for both undergraduate and graduate students. The program will provide students with opportunities to gain knowledge and hands-on experience in veterinary medicine within a global context through study visits and practical training. The collaboration also emphasizes the development of skills in the diagnosis, prevention, control, and treatment of diseases in companion animals, livestock, poultry, exotic animals, and aquatic animals, as well as the enhancement of cross-cultural learning experiences. These efforts will contribute to preparing students to become competent veterinarians and veterinary professionals at the international level.

The Faculty of Veterinary Science, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya firmly believes that this collaboration marks another significant step toward enhancing the quality of education, strengthening international academic networks, and sustainably expanding learning opportunities for students.
