On 4 February 2026, the executives, lecturers, staff, and students of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus, attended the opening ceremony of the Thung Yai Agriculture Fair 2026, held under the theme “Smart Agriculture and Food Tech for Sustainable Agriculture and Food.” The event took place at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus (Thung Yai Area), Thung Yai District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Somchai Leelanoi, Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The welcome remarks were delivered by Professor Emeritus Dr. Piamsak Menasavet, Chairman of the University Council of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, and Associate Professor Pracheep Chuphan, former President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya.
The ceremony was also honored by the presence of heads of provincial and district government offices, representatives from public and private sectors, administrators of educational institutions, teachers, students, and members of the general public.
