On 6 February 2026, the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, organized a pet population control activity during the Thung Yai Agriculture Fair 2026 at the Surgery Room, Pasukasem Building, Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Faculty of Veterinary Science, RMUTSV, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus (Thung Yai).
During the event, spay–neuter surgeries were performed on 35 cats. Fifth-year veterinary students actively participated in the operations under the close supervision of expert veterinary faculty members. This activity was part of the integration of teaching and learning with academic services for the community, aiming to promote animal welfare and reduce the number of stray animals 🐱🤍.
