On February 9, 2026, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya organized a pet population control activity during the Thung Yai Agricultural Fair 2026.
The activity took place at the Surgery Room, Pasukasem Building, Veterinary Hospital, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, RMUTSV, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus (Thung Yai).
During the event, spay and neuter surgeries were provided for 15 dogs. Fourth-year veterinary students participated in the operations under the close supervision of experienced veterinary faculty members.
This activity is part of the integration of teaching and learning with academic services to the community, aiming to promote animal welfare and sustainably reduce the problem of stray animals.
