Enhancing Real-World Experience! Veterinary Students from RMUTSV Explore Blood Management Processes at the Thai Red Cross to Advance Emergency and Critical Care Skills

On 13 and 20 February 2026, the Emergency and Critical Care Clinical Veterinary Medicine course led fourth-year veterinary students on a study visit to the National Blood Service Region 11, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thai Red Cross Society, Pak Phraek Subdistrict, Thung Song District, Nakhon Si Thammarat.

The purpose of this visit was to provide students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge regarding the blood procurement process, blood donor screening, as well as the preparation and management of blood products. These are essential areas of knowledge that can be applied to their future professional careers in veterinary medicine.

During the study visit, Dr.Patharee Oungsakul,Dr.Sara ni-ae ,Dr. Amornwan Chanasaenee,and Ms. Supaporn Noochu closely supervised and guided the students throughout the activity. Their support ensured that the students gained comprehensive knowledge, practical skills, and professional perspectives in the field of emergency and critical care medicine effectively.
