The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, organized the Student Orientation and Farewell Program for the Academic Year 2025 at Pracheep Choophan Conference Room (Lecture Room 3). The event aimed to prepare sixth-year students for graduation, with a total of 43 participants, including faculty members, staff, and students.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Dhiravit Chantip, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, who also delivered a special lecture on “Challenges for RMUTSV Veterinary Graduates in the Modern Era,” providing perspectives and inspiration for students as they embark on their professional careers.
The program also featured informative lectures on key topics, including establishing a veterinary clinic and an introduction to the roles and responsibilities of the Veterinary Medical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage (TVMA), presented by Dr. Chaiwalan Tunak, Director of the Policy and Planning Division, Department of Livestock Development. In addition, Assistant Professor Dr. Nampueng Suemanotham introduced the Veterinary Practitioner Association of Thailand (VPAT) and its roles, while Dr. Nawapoon Jampanil provided guidance on applying for membership in the Veterinary Continuing Education Center.
On this occasion, Professor Dr. Suwat Thanyasorn, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, assigned the Dean to deliver congratulatory remarks and words of encouragement to the prospective graduates, emphasizing professional ethics, morality, and social responsibility.
This program served as a significant initiative in preparing students to become qualified veterinary graduates, equipping them with essential knowledge, professional understanding, and networking opportunities that will benefit their future careers.
