The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, conducted a clinical veterinary practice course (Veterinary Clinic Practice 5) for 6th-year students from November 18 to 22, 2024. The course was divided into three stations:
- Station 1: At the Institute of Natural Resources and Environment, RMUTS Trang Campus, students conducted health checks on sea turtles, collected samples for clinical diagnosis, developed treatment plans, provided treatment, and monitored the turtles’ recovery. The supervising instructors were Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimwarang Sukgaran and Ms. Supaporn Nuchu.
- Station 2: At Elephant Hills, Surat Thani, students attended a lecture on elephant biology, behavior, and management, followed by presentations. The supervising instructor was Dr. Sittat Chumsi.
- Station 3: In Phuket, on November 18, 2024, students learned about tiger behavior at Tiger Park Phuket, and on November 19, 2024, they visited the Upper Andaman Sea and Coastal Resources Research Center in Phuket. The supervising instructors were Dr. Ravigan Inchuay and Ms. Supaporn Kanchanasirathip.
