From 2–4 May 2026, the Student Development Division, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus, Thung Yai Area, organized the “Dream Camp: Pathway to Veterinary Profession 2026” to provide high school students from across Thailand with an opportunity to learn about and experience the veterinary profession firsthand. More than 81 students nationwide participated in the program.
During the closing ceremony, Assistant Professor Dr. Dhiravit Chantip, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, presided over the event and presented certificates to all participants as a gesture of congratulations and encouragement for their journey toward achieving their dreams of becoming veterinarians ![]()
Throughout the camp, participants gained knowledge through both theoretical and practical learning experiences, including academic activities and career guidance. These activities covered both Pre-Clinical studies, which focus on fundamental knowledge before entering clinical training, and Clinical studies, which emphasize hands-on clinical practice and real-world veterinary experience.
Participants also visited key facilities of the faculty, including the Small Animal Hospital, Nakhon Si Thammarat Livestock Hospital, Animal Disease Diagnosis and Necropsy Center, and Aquatic Animal Practice Center, allowing them to better understand veterinary education and professional practice across different fields ![]()

In addition, students attended an academic guidance session on the faculty’s three academic programs, presented by Dr. Metasu chanrat Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research. The program also featured an inspirational talk session, “Celebrity Talk”, with Dr. Ratchadaporn Srismut (Dr. Bow), who shared her experiences and journey toward becoming a veterinarian ![]()
Another highlight was the “Senior-to-Junior Talk” session, where distinguished alumni of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine—Dr. Dueantula Wongsilp, Dr. Tayakorn Sincharoenrung, and Dr. Amornwan Chanaseni—shared their academic and professional experiences, helping participants gain clearer insights into career pathways in veterinary medicine ![]()

This project is considered one of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, RMUTSV’s important initiatives aimed at broadening educational perspectives, inspiring dreams, and motivating students interested in pursuing veterinary studies.
