The Youth Volunteer Project for the year 2024 under the project “Establishing a Sustainable Health Service System for Water Buffaloes to Support Conservation Tourism,” Edition 7

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, organized the annual Youth Volunteer Project for the year 2024 under the project “Establishing a Sustainable Health Service System for Water Buffaloes to Support Conservation Tourism,” on October 16, 2024. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, in collaboration with the Livestock Department of Phatthalung Province, carried out the project “Establishing a Sustainable Health Service System for Water Buffaloes to Support Conservation Tourism.” The project involved Dr. Kosit Arikij, Assistant Professor Dr. Adisorn Srijarus, Assistant Professor Dr. Sunisa Kongthong, and Assistant Professor Natchathrut Rukngam from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, along with Mr. Thawisart Tankitiyanan, a senior veterinarian from the Livestock Strategy and Information Group, Phatthalung Provincial Livestock Office, and the Khuan Khanun District Livestock Office. They conducted training for farmers raising water buffaloes in Thale Noi to provide knowledge about diseases in buffaloes, monitor animal health management, address issues in herd management, and prepare for disaster situations at Phanang Tung Subdistrict Municipality, Khuan Khanun District, Phatthalung Province, with 30 farmers participating.
